Late roster adjustments have reshaped the cast for the 2026 Volleyball All-Star Showcase, set to unfold on May 1 at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.
Stepping into the spotlight are Criss Cross standouts Kim Malabunga and Ysay Marasigan, along with AEP-Cabstars’ Jared Schnake, who were tapped as replacements following last-minute withdrawals from the original lineup.
Malabunga fills the void left by JP Bugaoan in Team Power, while Marasigan takes over the slot of Edward Camposano.
On the other side, Schnake has been called up to take the place of Sherwin Caritativo.
The three outgoing players begged off due to personal reasons, with organizers respecting their decisions.
Despite the changes, Team Power retains a formidable core anchored by Criss Cross’ Jude Garcia, Adrian Villados, Noel Kampton, Lloyd Josafat, and Menard Guerrero, alongside Savouge’s Louie Ramirez.
The squad will be steered by head coach Sydney Calderon, who will have a deep bench at his disposal, including EJ Casaña, Vince Lorenzo, Billie Anima, JM Ronquillo, Jaron Requinton, and Jayvee Sumagaysay.
Meanwhile, Team Passion boasts its own mix of firepower, bannered by Criss Cross trio Nico Almendras, John Philip Pepito, and Gian Glorioso.
They are joined by AEP-Cabstars’ Mfena Gwaza and Jay Rack De La Noche, as well as Alpha Insurance’s Cian Silang, under the guidance of coach Tai Bundit.
