When Joseph Eriobu returns to Manila following his Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 stint at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, he won’t be rejoining Magnolia.
The 6-foot-4 forward has been traded to Terrafirma in exchange for the Dyip’s second-round pick in the PBA Season 52 draft.
The league approved the trade on Wednesday.
Eriobu has been with Magnolia since 2023.
The 33-year-old former Mapua standout has appeared in only five games so far in the ongoing Philippine Cup.
The likes of Zavier Lucero, Ian Sangalang, Russel Escoto, James Laput, and Rome Dela Rosa are ahead of Eriobu in LA Tenorio’s rotation.
