Madayag suffers knee injury during Choco Mucho-Petro Gazz PVL BFB game


BACARRA, ILOCOS NORTE — Maddie Madayag left the court on a wheelchair after a bad landing during Choco Mucho’s bronze match against Petro Gazz on Wednesday. 

With the Flying Titans ahead by one, 15-14 in the fourth set, Madayag attempted a quick but was blocked by Ria Meneses.

Madayag was seen clutching her left knee as the medical team attended to her.

The 5-foot-11 blocker had been averaging 7.17 points per game prior to this match.

The Flying Titans have played seven matches in the last eight days dating back to August 4.
