Lozada outlasts Ryan Monteclaro, Juan GDL to win Chooks 3×3 Two-Point Shootout


CALAMBA, LAGUNA – Janus Lozada of Petra Cement-Roxas ZN closed out his 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup campaign by winning his second TM Two-Point Shootout, Friday at Inspire Academy here.

Figuring in a tiebreaker with Juan Gomez de Liano of Nueva Ecija and Ryan Monteclaro of Big Boss Cement-Porac, the former Adamson Soaring Falcons fired seven points to win.

Monteclaro had six while Gomez de Liano had five.

This brings Lozada’s total earnings in the side event at P20,000.

Petra Cement, on the other hand, won four of the five two-point shootouts with Roider Cabrera winning Legs Two and Four.

Chris De Chavez of Uling Roasters-Butuan was the winner of Leg One.
