Louie Vigil will spearhead the cast of San Miguel in the PBA 3×3 starting on November 20 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The 30-year-old guard-forward is at the forefront of a Beermen crew that features quite an intriguing composition for the inaugural meet.
A part of SMB’s champion teams since 2017, he will be joined by the seasoned James Mangahas, Bacon Austria, and rookie Jeff Manday.
Mangahas, since being undrafted out of De La Salle in 2010, saw action in the D-League and in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.
Austria, a third-round pick by Rain or Shine nine years ago, is back playing competitively since suiting up for Flying V in the developmental ranks in 2017.
The son of San Miguel head coach Leo Austria, the Ateneo de Manila product has long been serving as one of the Beermen’s practice players.
Manday, lastly, is SMB’s sixth-round selection in last March’s draft proceedings. The Negrense guard was the only rookie signed by the ball club.
