From a grand total of 16 global candidates vying for a spot to become ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong’s next Chief Of Staff, “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” is down to five talented business people.
Among them is Filipino candidate Louie Sangalang, who emerged as one of the strongest favorites after nine episodes in the hit reality TV show.
For the second straight episode, the 43-year-old looks to navigate through what he calls the “sorority party,” as he’s the only man left in the show alongside Irina Chadsey, Monica Millington, Paulina Purnomowati, and Jessica Ramella.
But Louie has proven time after time that he has the smarts and the grit to outlast his fellow candidates, as he has played the game to perfection over the past few weeks.
Owing to his physical fitness, Louie has always stood out in the physical challenges regardless of the task at hand. And in the business challenges, Louie has been smart as well, knowing when to take over and when to hang back.
Because of this, Louie has emerged as a strong candidate for the US$250,000 job offer – effectively avoiding the chopping block for nine consecutive weeks.
What To Expect This Episode
A lot of people have seen the side of Chatri as the amiable Chairman and CEO of the world’s largest martial arts organization – ONE Championship.
Now fans will see a different side of Chatri, as he’s set to join the five candidates in a football game at the Boys’ Town of Singapore, a charity founded by the Montfort Brothers in 1948 and a foundation that the Thailand native has supported for a long time.
Also dropping by the show are two billionaire brothers from Indonesia in Karuna and Prajna Murdaya to test the business acumen of the candidates.
Karuna is the Director of the Central Cipta Murdaya Group, a business conglomerate running infrastructure, agriculture, and IT businesses, while his brother Prajna is currently the Director of the Jakarta International Expo (JI Expo).
The candidates will be tasked with organizing a trade event for the JI Expo and its clients.
Just how will Louie and the four other candidates fare in this episode? Catch “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” this Monday, 24 May, at 9 p.m. on One Sports.
