Farm Fresh has signed Adamson University standout Lorene Toring for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.
This, despite the 23-year-old middle blocker’s recent ACL injury that forced her to miss her final playing year with the Lady Falcons in the UAAP Season 86.
Toring injured her knee after slipping in practice just a week before the UAAP.
During her final stint with Adamson, Toring helped the school reach the Final Four in Season 85. There, they bowed out of contention after losing National University.
Toring, who is expected to miss almost the entire PVL season, will join Riza Cruz, Camill Avila, Aprylle Tagsip, Joan Narit, and Jaycel Delos Reyes in the Foxies’ middle blocker rotation once she is cleared to play.
The move also meant that the 5-foot-11 middle blocker will not have to go through the PVL Rookie Draft set this June.
