Letran headlines PBA D-League field


Reigning NCAA champions Colegio de San Juan de Letran will headline the eight-team field of the 2022 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup which unfurls next week.

Letran, who will be backed by Wang’s Basketball, will showcase its cracked lineup that features Rhenz Abando, Fran Yu, and the debuting Ira Bataller.

Another champion in St. Clare College also joins the fray.

The team coached by Jinino Manansala and led by Johnsherick Estrada will be backed by Adalem Construction.

Completing the cast are EcoOil-De La Salle University, Builders Warehouse-University of Santo Tomas, Centro Escolar University, Marinerong Pilipino, AMA Online Education, and Apex Fuel-San Sebastian College-Recoletos.

UST will be debuting a new head coach during the tournament while Marinerong Pilipino is looking to get the core of Mapua University to reinforce its team.

Games will be held every Tuesday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, and on Thursday and Saturday mornings at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
