Lervin Flores handed two-game suspension by PBA, TNT

TNT played with only three men in its 20-17 conquest of CAVITEX in Day 1 of the PBA 3×3’s third leg, Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Jeremiah Gray, Samboy De Leon, and Almond Vosotros all had to grind it out in exacting revenge against the same team who handed them their first loss of the season last leg as they were without big man Lervin Flores.

According to a broadcast report, the 6-foot-5 bruiser has been suspended for one game by the 3×3 committee for his unsportsmanlike foul on Tonino Gonzaga late in their semis meeting with Meralco in Leg 2 which they lost.

The Tropang Giga management also gave the former Arellano University Chief another one-game suspension for disciplinary purposes.

So, that means Flores is also out of his team’s match versus Limiltess App later at 4:55 p.m. in a rematch of the third-place game in the last leg.

He is expected to return in Day 2 of the competitions tomorrow, where they will take on Purefoods Tender Juicy at 1:40 p.m.

It is indeed going to be a tedious day for TNT., although if it’s any indication, the crew could manage well given its performance against the Braves.

The 6-foot-5 Gray carried much of the load for the Tropang GIga with 12 points, while De Leon supplied seven as they seized early lead in Pool C.
