Manila leg of LeBron James’ Manila Tour cancelled

The return of three-time NBA Champion Lebron James to Manila has been cancelled due to a logistical problem according to Nike Philippines.

“Due to logistical challenges Nike has made the difficult decision to cancel the Manila portion of LeBron James’ Asia tour,” the statement released Wednesday afternoon stated.

“We apologize to all the fans in the Philippines and will look to reschedule the tour in the future.”

This would have been James’ third visit to the country after a first tour back in 2010 and again in 2015. This trip would have been part of the LeBron James Manila Tour 2016 highlighted by a Battle the Doubt Night event supposed to be held on Thursday, September 8 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
