Lady Bulldogs pull out of PVL


Hours before their scheduled debut, the National University Lady Bulldogs pulled out of the Premier Volleyball League Women’s Collegiate Conference.

The team made the announcement on their official Facebook page which cited NU Athletic Director for Athletic Programs Sheila Nisperos as source.

“NUWVT has withdrawn from PVL Collegiate Conference. They will not be playing. Official statement to follow.

According to Sports Vision president Ricky Palou, the league was just notified by Lady Bulldogs head coach Babes Castillo early in the day.

“I received a phone call from Babes Castillo, saying that NU is is withdrawing,” he said in a statement.

The Lady Bulldogs were set to face the San Beda University Lady Red Spikers at 4 p.m. today at the FilOil Flying V Centre.
