Second generation cager Kobe Paras attended his first Gilas Cadets practice for 2018, Monday evening at the Meralco Gym in Pasig City.
Paras, who has yet to grab some sleep since arriving from the States on Monday morning, joined the 12 cadets who are preparing for the upcoming 2018 Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup.
Also making his first practice for the upcoming tournament is Abu Tratter.
Completing the night’s cast are CJ Perez of Lyceum; Kenneth Tuffin and Arvin Tolentino of FEU; Will Gozum and Juan Gomez de Liano of UP; Javee Mocon of San Beda, Jeo Ambohot of Letran; brothers Prince and Ricci Rivero; and Marinerong Pilipino’s Vince Tolentino.
J-Jay Alejandro continued to watch on the sidelines, as he is still nursing a bum right ankle.
There was a special visitor for the night, as Gilas Elite guard Kiefer Ravena visited the facility.
The night’s session was presided over by coach Jong Uichico, Ryan Betia, and Josh Reyes.
The Chooks-to-Go-backed Gilas Cadets will take on the Ateneo Blue Eagles on Saturday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
