Kielvj unstoppable as Execration stuns Omega to open MPL-PH 7

The King has arrived.

Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez soldiered on after a freak accident, leading the new-look Execration to a whopping 2-0 sweep of Smart Omega Esports on the opening day of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven, Friday evening.

Following a come-from-behind win in Game One, Execration carried over the momentum in Game Two, with Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez (Ling) and Duane “Kelra” Pillas (Alice) spearheading a crucial mid-game wipe out on Omega to tip the scales entirely on their favor.

Kielvj and Kelra tried to finish the game, but Salic “Hadjizy” Imam’s Yi Sun Shin and Ej “Heath” Esperanza’s Jawhead was able to stop their tower take.

Execration then secured the lord at the 14:19 mark and finished the match after exactly 50 seconds.

Kielvj posted a perfect 8-0-7 stat line with his Ling in Game Two while Kelra’s Alice put up six kills and eight assists against five deaths.

Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog’s Mathilda played a crucial role as well, providing Execration with well-executed initiations and saves. The former all-MPL member gathered 16 assists along with a kill and four deaths.

Omega, on the other hand, was led by Jankurt “KurTzy” Matira with five kills, two deaths, and five assists playing Uranus.

Back in Game One, the mage-heavy composition of Omega Esports worked wonders for the Smart-backed squad in the early goings of the match. But the four-protect-one strategy of Execration scaled much better in the late game.

With Ch4knu (Tigreal) and Kelra (Baxia) soaking up the magic damage from Omega, Kielvj Claude was able to farm with ease and lead Execration to a victory in Game One. A crucial clash in the lord pit paved the way for Execration to wipe out the entire Omega squad, which paved the way for Kielvj to finish the match.
