Despite being in Japan, Kiefer Ravena is raising funds for the victims of Typhoon Odette.
During Shiga’s homestand against Akita on January 2 and 3 at Ukaruchan Arena, the Lakestars will be putting up a booth at the entrance of the venue for all donations.
Ravena himself will personally man the booth once the gates open.

“There will be a fund-raising event for the Philippines, to all the victims of Typhoon Odette,” said Ravena. “I would like to thank my Shiga Lakestars family for putting this up. I appreciate all the support.
“I hope to see all the Filipinos out there. Let’s all help kababayans affected by the typhoon so they can rise up and go back to their normal lives.”
All the donations will go directly to UNICEF.
Odette hit Visayas and Mindanao days before Christmas. The typhoon was estimated to have caused at least ₱39.3 billion worth of damage across the Philippines.
It has been reported that the death toll has reached 407 as of publishing.
The Lakestars are currently 9-15 in the standings while Akita is 15-9.
