But the native of Atlanta, Georgia will not leave Northport hanging.

According to Batang Pier head coach Bonnie Tan, they are aware of this. But Murphy has assured them that he will finish the ongoing 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup first.

“Yes, we know that he has another offer but he will definitely finish this conference,” the soft-spoken head coach told Tiebreaker Times.

Murphy is currently averaging 37.0 points, 11.33 rebounds, and 3.67 assists per game for Northport.

Currently, the Batang Pier are ninth in the standings with a 3-7 slate – just half a game behind eighth-running Phoenix Super LPG.

With this, Northport is in a must-win situation when they face TNT on Wednesday.
