Aljun Melecio has signed with NorthPort after being released by Terrafirma.
The 5-foot-8 guard inked a one-year deal with his new team on Saturday, accompanied by his agent, Marvin Espiritu.
The signing is notable as Pureblends president Bryan Calantoc and team manager Aldriane Anglim were present for the occasion, marking Calantoc’s first public photo opportunity with the team.
The acquisition of the Sultan 900 Capital-owned franchise is reportedly nearing completion, according to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation.
Melecio was previously traded from Converge to Terrafirma back in November 2024.
Last season, he averaged 5.7 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 rebounds across 22 games.
