KBL: Abando sees limited minutes in Anyang’s Game 2 loss to Goyang

Coming off a dominant Game 1 win, Anyang KGC was not able to sustain the momentum, falling to Goyang in Game 2 of the best-of-five KBL semifinals, 75-89, Saturday at Anyang Indoor Gymnasium.

KGC took Game 1 with a line of 99-43. But this time around the Carrot Jumpers were better prepared.

Rhenz Abando, who only played 10 minutes last Thursday, only logged three minutes in the contest.

Game Three is on Monday at Goyang.

The duo of Lee Junghyun and Dedric Lawson were menaces in the contest. Lee fired 32 points on four treys and 10 free throws while Lawson added 24 points and 15 boards.

Han Hobin chipped in 11 points on three triples.

Omari Spellman led KGC with 19 points and six rebounds while Byun Junhyung added 16 markers.
