The Justin Brownlee-Alab Pilipinas saga has finally ended.
The decorated American import finally arrived Thursday afternoon, joining the San Miguel-backed squads practice at Kerry Sports in Taguig.
Alab set an ultimatum for Brownlee after missing flights to Malaysia last week and to Manila last Sunday.
If the four-time PBA champion did not arrive by Friday, Alab would have no other recourse but to find another import. The ABL had set the deadline for roster changes on Saturday, February 29.
This will be Alab’s second stint with Alab, leading the Philippine-based club team to the championship back in the eighth season of the league.
Also arriving was John Fields, who replaced Sam Deguara.
The duo will play on Sunday when Alab take on Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City.
