Zamboanga Valientes are bringing the stars out for the return of the VisMin Super Cup.
JR Quinahan, Summer Olympics bronze medalist Eumir Marcial, and Rhayan Amsali will be paraded by the Valientes in the VisMin Super Cup Fiesta Pilar Philippines Championship which begins on Friday evening at the Centralli Sports and Events.
Of course, all eyes will be on Quinahan.
Quinahan was caught playing in an unsanctioned league by the PBA last May that resulted in his termination with NLEX.
The 39-year-old Cebuano big man remains a free agent.
Meanwhile, Amsali, a native of Zamboanga City, previously committed to University of Santo Tomas but ended up leaving the school.
Finally, Marcial will make his pro basketball debut.
Completing the Valientes team are Jammer Hassan, Mark Samsani, Jerome Ferrer, Denver Cadiz, Garrex Puerto, Job Alcantara, Kim Siegue, John Esperat, Aoron Bannister, Jayson Rebollos, Rodel Vaygan, Eugene Curtocruz, Reed Juntilla, Das Esa, Sharif Uking, and Kim Gabasa.
Zamboanga will play its first game against the Sibugay Knights at 9 p.m.
McDavid Zampen and AO Kings will square off in the opening game at 7:30 p.m.
