After five years, Jerry Yee will make his return to the UAAP.
Yee has been tapped by Adamson University to become the school’s new women’s volleyball team head coach.
Yee replaces Lerma Giron, who steered the Lady Falcons to a fifth-place finish in Season 84.
The Filipino-Chinese tactician previously coached University of the Philippines from UAAP Seasons 76 to 79, leading the Lady Maroons to a Final Four finish in Season 78.
Yee is also the head coach of pro team Petro Gazz, NCAA squad College of Saint Benilde, and high school team California Academy.
Besides those teams, Yee is also the program director of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation’s youth team.
Giron also left her position as girls’ volleyball team head coach.
JP Yude will take over the program. Yude played for the Soaring Falcons until Season 80.
Adamson is also looking for a new men’s volleyball head coach. The previous head coach was Domeng Custodio.
