Jerry Yee brings in Benilde core to Farm Fresh

Jerry Yee will serve as the head coach of Farm Fresh for the 2023 PVL Invitational Conference.

Yee is no stranger in club competition, previously handling Sta. Lucia in the Philippine Superliga and Petro Gazz in the country’s premier volleyball league.

Pressed for time as Farm Fresh is entering the league in the midst of the season, Yee will be bringing in players familiar to him for the Foxies.

The Foxies will be composed of players from College of Saint Benilde. The Lady Blazers will be using a special guest license obtained from the Games and Amusements Board.

“Technically, wala namang nadagdag sa load ko kasi itong Farm Fresh will have the same core as Benilde,” said Yee, who is also the head coach of Adamson’s women’s volleyball team.

Under his watch, Yee has guided Benilde to back-to-back NCAA titles, going unbeaten during that stretch.

He will be bringing with him the likes of Gayle Pascual, Jade Gentapa, Michelle Gamit, Wielyn Estoque, and Cloanne Mondonedo. Farm Fresh will also tap a couple of pro players to lead the squad.

“So kung anong training namin sa collegiate, yun pa rin,” he said.

“But nonetheless, we look forward to give this kind of opportunity and exposure sa players natin.”
