Prior to going to France, Teng had thought that joining the national team was only through invitation. However, Parks, who has attended the last two practices, reached out to Reyes and was welcomed with open arms.
“Di ko rin alam na kailangan lang ipaalam ang intention. Ngayon, nag-reach out lang ako. Lahat naman gustong maglaro for the team,” the two-time UAAP Finals MVP added.
Teng has won numerous accolades during his collegiate career, and is currently making waves in the PBA D-League, having won the scoring title last conference.
And the former De La Salle University Green Archer just wants to opportunity to fight for a spot in the National Team.
“Walang player na ‘di gusto maki-practice para sa country,” the 6-foot-2 bruiser said.
