Jeremiah Gray will still be very much involved with Asia’s pioneering pro league as he is set to represent TNT in the much-anticipated PBA 3×3.
The 25-year-old Gray and team manager Gabby Cui confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times Friday. He is already in the Philippines undergoing the mandatory quarantine for those coming from overseas.

“We signed Jeremiah Gray to a one-year contract for the PBA 3×3 season. We would like to welcome Jeremiah to TNT Tropang GIGA 3×3. We are excited to have him onboard,” said Cui.
The Fil-Am guard was among the players who were not able to submit the needed papers for this year’s draft, but they are good to go to play in the newly-founded league since it follows FIBA 3×3’s more relaxed eligibility rules.
Earlier, Meralco has announced that it has secured the services of seasoned playmaker Jason Brickman, Gray’s former teammate in San Miguel Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League, for the PBA 3×3 inaugurals.
Gray introduced himself to the local scene in 2019 when he joined Mighty Sports Philippines in the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship, where the team bagged home the bronze medal.
He returned for another stint with MSP in the Jones Cup a few months after that and he continued to impress, helping the ball club rule the annual Taiwan-hosted tournament for the second time in three years.
The Dominican College alumnus then took his act to the ABL later that year when he joined Alab. The regional pro league, however, was forced to cancel the season due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Grey had his first pro stint with PEA in the Thailand Basketball League and then played for BBC Sparta Bertrange in Luxembourg.
Now he can potentially be among the faces of PBA 3×3, which aims to open by next month provided it gets clearance from the Inter-Agency Task Force.
