As one of the seven local players lined up for the country’s participation at the upcoming FIVB World Club Championship this October, multi-awarded libero Jen Reyes has set her sights on showcasing herself against the world’s finest.
Not a stranger to these kind of tournaments, Reyes’ accumulated experiences playing internationally will come in handy for the import-backed Philippine team. Whenever her number is called, she will always be ready to battle it out.
Likewise, Petron head coach George Pascua shared the same sentiments for her fancied libero.
“Siyempre as a multi-awarded libero, she can perform naman sa mga international events,” he said.
Reyes couldn’t also help but turn emotional after the unexpected announcement. All her life, she has dreamt of representing the country on the international stage. And with the golden ticket secured, her dream is now a reality.
“Sobrang dream come true.”
“So talagang worth it lahat ng pagod simula elementary hanggang college.
