Jema Galanza, Cherry Nunag listed as reserves for Alas Women’s SEA V-League campaign

Alas Pilipinas are set to launch their campaign in the opening leg of the 2024 Southeast Asian (SEA) V-League in Vietnam tonight, with national team head coach Jorge Souza de Brito making the tough decision to place Jema Galanza and Cherry Nunag on the reserve list.

The tournament’s roster limit of 14 players has led to this challenging decision, with the Creamline outside hitter and Choco Mucho middle blocker unable to make the main squad.

As the Philippines gears up to face the host team in their opening match, the spotlight will be on key players Jia De Guzman, Sisi Rondina, Eya Laure, Bella Belen, Dawn Macandili-Catindig, and Thea Gagate.

The final 14-woman lineup also includes Fifi Sharma, Vanie Gandler, Faith Nisperos, Jennifer Nierva, Julia Coronel, Dell Palomata, and Arah Panique.
