Batangas-EAC ended its campaign in the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup on a good note, keeping AMA Online Education winless with a 91-78 stunner Monday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The Generals fought back from a 12-point deficit and staged a scathing 21-0 blast to take the 80-69 lead with exactly five minutes to play as the Titans had no more answers to the rampage.
“We are very grateful with the turnaround from our game na napakasama. Nakarecover yung mga players. Credit to them,” said coach Oliver Bunyi.
“Di ko na masyadong ginamit yung board. I told them it’s all in their hands. May tinatawag kaming perfect effort and na-accomplish namin yun,” he added.

Cedric de Joya also poured 18 points, while Jebb Bulawan got 15 points, 10 boards and three blocks.
