Javi Gomez De Liaño, UP deal NKNU 30-point rout, gain semis berth

Gomez De Liaño took over in the said frame as he pocketed 10 of his 25 points to put UP beyond reach in the third period.

With the win, State U has clinched the top spot in their group off a 3-0 record going into the semifinals.

Paras added 16 points while Manzo and Akhuetie chipped in 13 and 12 markers, respectively. Manzo also dished out seven dimes.

UP looks to sweep the group stages on Friday when it takes on National Taiwan Normal University.
