Javee Mocon participated in Gilas Pilipinas’ practice in preparation for the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers’ first window, Tuesday evening at the Meralco Gym in Pasig City.
The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters guard was among the 19 players in attendance, but Gilas has yet to confirmed if he will officially be part of the pool for the tilt that commences next week.
The former Gilas Cadet joined fellow PBA cagers Kiefer Ravena, Troy Rosario, Roger Pogoy, Poy Erram, CJ Perez, Justin Chua, and Marc Pingris though the latter was in street clothes.
Also in attendance were Thirdy Ravena, Isaac Go, Matt and Mike Nieto, Juan and Javi Gomez De Liaño, Dave Ildefonso, Dwight Ramos, Rey Suerte, Allyn Bulanadi, and Jaydee Tungcab.
Vic Manuel and Abu Tratter have yet to report as the new pool members are still with Alaska’s team building sessions.
Gilas battles Thailand on the 20th at the SMART Araneta Coliseum before facing Indonesia on the 23rd on the road.
