Things have been rough lately for superstar James Yap.
From his revived row with ex-wife Kris Aquino, to his current wife Michela Cazzola receiving malicious comments on social media, the 36-year-old is facing off-court issues once more.
But then, Yap is handling those problems the best way he can.
“Sanay na,” quipped the seven-time PBA champion.
And so Yap did on Friday, in the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters’ 2018 Commissioner’s Cup opener.
The 14-year league veteran was business as usual, producing 10 points, three assists, and two rebounds to help the Elasto Painters in an overtime win over the Alaska Aces, 109-103.
“Siguro nasanay na lang din,” reflected the two-time league Most Valuable Player.
“Kailangan i-ta-take mo as a professional.
Forward, never backward.
