Iron Bunny Philippines is ready to craft distinct attire for one of today’s rising Filipino mixed martial arts stars – Lito Adiwang.
The Cebu-based clothing line has committed to dressing up “Thunder Kid” for his rematch against Jeremy Miado at ONE Fight Night 16.
This three-round strawweight showdown is scheduled to be held at the world-renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on November 4.
Adiwang himself feels more than thrilled about this partnership, and is flattered by Iron Bunny’s support.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have Iron Bunny Philippines as my official outfitter for my next fight in ONE Championship. Their unwavering support means the world to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this partnership,” he said.
“Together, we’re going to conquer new heights.”
This isn’t the brand’s first rodeo in collaborating with notable figures in the combat sports world. Iron Bunny first turned heads when former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt served as one of the major endorsers during its formative years.
Iron Bunny expanded its catalog of luminaries this past September, striking a deal to become the official outfitter for Lions Nation MMA’s debut campaign under the ONE Championship banner. It was bannered by Eduard Folayang and Joshua Pacio.
Adiwang now joins this impressive roster, and Ricky Enriquez – the co-founder of Iron Bunny – couldn’t be happier about it.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lito Adiwang to the Iron Bunny Philippines family. He embodies the core values of a true Filipino warrior – determination, passion, and an unwavering commitment to success,” Enriquez stated.
“We look forward to supporting him on his journey to greatness.”
Enriquez revealed to Tiebreaker Times that Adiwang’s gear for ONE Fight Night 16 will carry a regal combination of gold and black.
It seems to be a fitting choice for a former ranked strawweight contender looking to prove a point.
The second encounter versus Miado presents Adiwang with a chance at redemption, and he intends to make the most of it.
Both men first crossed paths in March 2022. The match-up was poised to be a high-octane contest due to their hard-hitting styles in the cage, but it took an unfortunate turn.
In the second round of the matchup, Adiwang suffered a torn ACL, forcing the bout to come to an abrupt end. The stoppage win was then awarded to Miado.
This coming November, Adiwang has an opportunity to close the chapter on his rivalry with Miado.
