High provincial teams turnout set for 3×3 Golden League Manila

The 3×3 Golden League Manila 2018 slated from October 26 to 28 has drawn participants from teams from the provinces.

Tournament commissioner Allan Caidic said teams from Cavite, Rizal, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, and Camarines Sur are among those who confirmed their participation in the league, jointly organized by Mediapro Asia and Sina Sports.

“We are happy with the turnout of provincial teams that will be joining the tournament as we want to develop 3×3 players in the countryside,” Caidic said.

Aside from the provincial teams, a guest team from Tibet in Aba Prefecture, a winner of the Chengdu leg of the Sina 3×3 Golden League China, secured one of the 128 slots available in the tournament.

Registration is still open for the tournament whose preliminary matches will be held from October 26 to 27 at the historic Dumlao Sports Center in Mandaluyong, with the playoffs and final set on October 28 at the Ayala Circuit Manila.

The champion team of the 3×3 Golden League Manila will take home $3,000 and will earn the right to represent the Philippines in the SINA 3×3 International Elite League slated to held from November 13-17 in Beijing.

All expenses will be paid. For details, visit facebook.com/3x3GoldenLeagueManila and facebook.com/nblphil.
