Gray’s camp denies signing with Taiwanese team: ‘He is committed to TNT 3X3’

Jeremiah Gray will fulfill his one-year contract to play for TNT in the inaugural PBA 3×3 tournament.

Gray’s uncle Anton Brodett made the reassurance after news came out that his nephew had just signed a contract with one of the two professional basketball leagues in Chinese-Taipei.

“He is getting for the PBA 3×3 tournament. Miah bulked up and is in top share right now,” Brodett, an assistant coach for the San Beda Red Cubs, told Tiebreaker Times.

“He is a classy individual. Let’s not jump into things and assume.”

Four months ago, Gray, 24, signed a one-season deal to play for TNT. Each PBA 3×3 season will consist of three conferences that has five legs each.

With the PBA focusing on its 5-on-5 return first, Gray decided to return to the States for vaccination.

As of the moment, he is just waiting for his second dose before flying back to the Philippines in a couple of weeks.

“Jeremiah is raised right. Our family has values, and it’s not right for other individuals to make false statements,” said Brodett.

The first conference of PBA 3×3 will begin in early August and will take place every weekend.
