Golden ticket a chance for UAAP Best Setter to improve

Only the first setter to be called for national duty for the 2016 FIVB Women’s Club Championship, Kim Fajardo is only the third ticket holder after RC Cola Lady Troopers Rachel Anne Daquis and Jovelyn Gonzaga.

Although she was praying to be called after the Cargo Movers’ win against Standard Insurance this afternoon, she admitted she wasn’t expecting the opportunity.

The 22-year-old setter, who last experienced playing internationally when she was in high school, said she knows she still has so much to gain.

“Gusto ko pang matuto, kasi para sa’kin kulang pa ‘yung nalalaman ko,” Batangas-native said after receiving the ticket.

Besides winning, Fajardo, who dedicates this opportunity to her sports-oriented family, highlighted that learning from the experience is also her priority.UAAP-78-Volleyball-DLSU-vs.-ADMU-Fajardo-4661 Golden ticket a chance for UAAP Best Setter to improve 2016 FIVB Women's CWC DLSU News PSL Volleyball - philippine sports news

Although she is the youngest of all three selected players so far, Filipino fans can expect nothing but her best game in the tournament.
