Ginebra San Miguel and Bay Area will renew their rivalry.
The Barangay and the Dragons were pooled together in Group B of the 2022-23 EASL tournament which begins in October.
The two squads faced off in an epic seven-game series during the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner’s Cup that saw Ginebra win it all in front of a record crowd at the Philippine Arena.
Also slotted in Group B are reigning B.League champion Ryukyu and KBL runner-up Seoul SK.
The Golden Kings will still have Carl Tamayo while the Knights reloaded with Juan Gomez de Liano.
Composing Group A are Governors’ Cup champion TNT and KBL king Anyang KGC.
Completing Group A are P.League+ champion Taipei Fubon and B.League second-placer Chiba.
Unlike the last timeout, the EASL will be played on a weekly basis with a home-and-away format.
