Gin Kings, Stanley Pringle to play in Gilas’ second tune-up with Jordan

After sitting out last Monday, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel players and Stanley Pringle will be suiting up in Gilas Pilipinas’ second tuneup with Jordan this Wednesday evening at the Meralco Gym in Pasig.

Japeth Aguilar, Greg Slaughter, Scottie Thompson, and LA Tenorio are all part of the 13-man team that are looking to bounce back from a 92-98 loss to the visitors three nights ago. Pringle is also in the team after missing Monday’s friendly.

The San Miguel Beermen boys — Christian Standhardinger, Arwind Santos, Marcio Lassiter, Alex Cabagnot, and reigning PBA four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo — are also in the line-up.

Completing the cast are Matthew Wright, Gabe Norwood, and Beau Belga.

Replaced from Monday’s team were Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, Poy Erram, and Ricci Rivero. Watching from the sidelines are Paul Lee (knee injury) and former Gilas member Asi Taulava.

The Jordanians, on the other hand, are still led by the veteran Zaid Abbas.

The Filipino cagers will be playing their second of four tune-ups this week. After this, they will next face Lebanon on Friday (November 23) and on Sunday (November 25), still at the Meralco Gym.
