Two Gilas Women stalwarts are set to take their talents to South Korea.
Vanessa De Jesus and Alexis Pana have signed with Women’s Korean Basketball League clubs Busan BNK and Cheongju KB, respectively, for the 2026–27 season.
Pana, 27, brings a wealth of international experience to an already stacked Stars squad.
The versatile 5-foot-9 guard has previously played professionally in Romania, Germany, Luxembourg, Lithuania, and Australia.
Two years ago, the Filipino-Hawaiian also led Pilipinas Aguilas in the inaugural WMPBL tournament.
Meanwhile, De Jesus is set to make her professional debut in the WKBL.
The 5-foot-8 Filipino-American guard spent five seasons at Duke University before completing her collegiate career at Notre Dame.
She later declared for the 2026 WNBA Draft but went unselected.
Both players have proudly represented the Philippines on the international stage.
Pana suited up for Gilas Women in the 2025 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series, while De Jesus represented the country in two editions of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup.
