From Gold to a Ring: Sisi Rondina gets engaged to Ronniel Rosales

Sisi Rondina closed out 2025 with a gold medal around her neck.

She began 2026 with a ring on her finger.

On Sunday, Rondina announced her engagement to fellow Alas Pilipinas beach volleyball standout Ronniel Rosales at the Montemaria Shrine in Batangas, with close family and friends in attendance.

The former Premier Volleyball League MVP is coming off a historic run in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, where she helped the Philippines secure its first-ever gold medal in beach volleyball and end Thailand’s long-standing reign in the sport.

Rondina is expected to return to the Taraflex in the upcoming 2025 PVL All-Filipino Conference this January with Choco Mucho.

Meanwhile, Rosales was part of the Alas Pilipinas beach volleyball roster that competed in the biennial meet. He last suited up for Cignal in Spikers’ Turf in 2024 before shifting his focus to beach volleyball.
