Franz Pumaren recruits two Fil-for gunners for Adamson

Adamson loaded up its backcourt this off-season.

Head coach Franz Pumaren has secured the commitments of Fil-Italian RS Delos Reyes and former Harper Hawk Adrian Punzalan.

And the two will bring their vast experience to the Soaring Falcons.

Delos Reyes is a 5-foot-11 guard, who has been playing in the Italian circuit since he was 12 years old.

“He is not an ordinary high school graduate because of his vast experience,” said the decorated champion coach.

From 2012 to 2014, Delos Reyes played for POL SDM before moving to Milano3 for the next six years.

The 21-year-old will be eligible for Season 83.

On the other hand, Punzalan is a 6-foot guard who spent his first two years of college in Division III school Harper College.

The native of Hoffman Estates, Illinois played in just five games in 2018-19. Despite that, he still averaged 10.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

He redshirted his second year.

The 20-year-old, whom Pumaren likes for his shooting prowess and defensive tenacity, will also have four playing years left beginning Season 84.

Other recruits Adamson has got are Joaquin Jaymalin, Jhon Cailsay, and RV Yanes.
