Forthsky Padrigao is set for a homecoming.
The 5-foot-11 floor general has signed with Zamboanga Sikat in a move confirmed Sunday evening, with representatives from his agency Bridge Sports Global and team officials present during the signing.
“We are very happy to welcome Forth to our team,” said team owner Cong. Kat Chua. “We believe in providing a platform for Zamboangueños to excel not only nationally but also internationally.”
Padrigao, a former UAAP Season 85 Elite Team member, transferred from Ateneo de Manila University to the University of Santo Tomas in 2023.
During his stint with the Growling Tigers, he helped steer the team to back-to-back Final Four appearances. In his final UAAP season (Season 88), he averaged 9.29 points, 5.07 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.86 steals per game.
He now joins former Fighting Maroon Janjan Felicilda and ex-teammate Josh Lazaro in Zamboanga’s roster.
The team currently holds a 1-2 record in the South Division.
However, Padrigao was not part of Zamboanga’s initial lineup, and the league has yet to confirm when he will be eligible to make his debut for his hometown squad.
