The office of the Philippine Basketball Association is just waiting for seven Filipino-foreigners to submit the proper documents that make them eligible for the 2021 PBA Draft set on March 14.
Andre Paras, Jerrick Ahanmisi, and Alec Stockton beat the Friday deadline, according to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation.
The trio joins Loren and Louie Brill, Taylor Browne, Dallas Serrano, Michael Simmonds, Joshua Torralba, Mikey Williams, James Laput, Cedric Pelayo, Troy Rike, Franky Johnson, Jamie Malonzo, Joshua Munzon, David Murrell, Seraj Elmejrab, and Brian Enriquez as the Fil-foreign players who were able to submit their Certificate of Recognition and Affirmation to the league.
Gilas pool members Jordan Heading and William Navarro were also able to submit their documents.
Despite being born to Filipino citizens, both Navarro and Paras had to submit their recognition and affirmation papers because they were born in Greece and California, respectively.
Backing out of the draft were JJ Española, John Paul Zarco, and Ezra Ocampo.
The league is now waiting on Taylor Statham, Jeremiah Gray, Jason Brickman, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, Tyrus Hill, Christopher Cancio, and John Paul Gulfo as the deadline of 5:00PM is fast approaching.
