Fajardo sends-off San Miguel as Beermen head to PBA Clark bubble

June Mar Fajardo made sure that he was part of the send-off committee for San Miguel on Tuesday.

Moments before the Beermen departed for Clark, the six-time Most Valuable Player went to the team’s office to help pack the team’s luggage for the three-month-long PBA bubble tournament.

“Good luck guys sa bubble! Di man ako makakasama sa inyo physically pero in spirit andon ako,” his post on Instagram read.

Last February, Fajardo suffered a complete fracture on his right tibia during a team practice, ruling him out of the season.

Though he can be part of the team’s contingent as a spectator, the team decided not to bring the 6-foot-10 behemoth with them.

“Sa TV nalang muna ako susuporta at prayers ang maiambag ko sa inyo.Bawi nalang ako next year!,” he quipped.

Fajardo has been a huge part of San Miguel’s six-year run on top of the Philippine Cup.

Currently, he is rehabbing as he eyes a PBA Season 46 return next year.

And he hopes no one from the league sustains an injury in Pampanga.

“Sana walang ma-injury sa inyong lahat at no health issues sana di lang sa San Miguel Beermen kundi pati na rin sa ibang teams at PBA officials at sa lahat ng mga taong kasama sa loob ng bubble.”

Fajardo’s teammates immediately flocked the comments section to give their well-wishes to their brother-in-arms.

“Will miss you, my big little bro! Magpalakas ka ah!” said Arwind Santos.

“Buddy! See you soon!” shared Von Pessumal.

“We miss you,” expressed Chris Ross.
