F2 Logistics appoints Regine Diego as head coach


F2 Logistics has finally found a full-time head coach.

Regine Diego will take over as head coach of the Cargo Movers for the 2023 PVL Season.

The Cargo Movers made the announcement on Thursday.

Diego is a product of Ramil de Jesus’ De La Salle University women’s volleyball program. A libero, she helped steer the Lady Spikers to four UAAP championships.

Diego then moved from Taft to Sampaloc, becoming a coach at National University.

The youthful tactician was an assistant coach to both the women’s and girls’ teams of NU.

During UAAP Season 82, she steered the Lady Bullpups to a sweep of the tournament. She resigned from her post a year later.

Now, the Cargo Movers got themselves a full-time head coach.

Benson Bocboc previously handled the team.

F2 Logistics, a decorated team in the defunct Philippine Superliga, has yet to make the semis in the PVL.
