Dwight Ramos and Hokkaido were sent crashing out of the 2022-23 Emperor’s Cup by Chiba, falling 75-88 in the third round of the tournament, Monday at Windhill Kushiro Super Arena.
Dwight Ramos led Levanga with 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two blocks but it was not enough to lift his team to the fourth round of the All-Japan tourney.
The Jets though were just too much for the young Hokkaido team.
Shuta Hara caught fire, dropping 27 points on five treys while John Mooney added 16 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks for Chiba.
Supporting Ramos was Alex Murphy with 18 points and five rebounds.
Ramos, the Ravena bros, and Ray Parks are headed back to the country to join Gilas for Window 5 of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
