Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) has secured a significant partnership with Jumbo Plastic Linoleum, marking a pivotal moment for the Generals program as they gear up for NCAA Season 100.
The formalization of this alliance took place on Tuesday, drawing key figures from both sides to seal the deal.
Among those present were the owner of Jumbo Plastic Jimmy Dela Cruz, EAC President Dr. Jose Paulo Campos, Generals’ Team Consultant Stevenson Tiu, head coach Jerson Cabiltes, and EAC’s management committee representative in the NCAA Dr. Lorenzo Lorenzo.
Expressing his gratitude for the newfound support, Cabiltes remarked, “I am immensely grateful to Jumbo Plastic. I played for them in the commercial leagues when I was still 17 years old. Since then, they have supported me in all of my endeavors, including in the PBA D-League and the MPBL. We can’t wait to kickstart a new era in EAC basketball.”
This collaboration marks a significant shift for EAC, as they bid farewell to their previous sponsor, Nueva Ecija’s Bong Cuevas, who backed the team in the previous season.
Despite finishing Season 99 with a commendable 10-8 record, landing them in fifth place, the Generals are poised for a stronger showing with the backing of Jumbo Plastic Linoleum.
