Dlar not to be denied as ONIC continues mastery over BREN in MPL-PH

Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera starred in ONIC PH’s 2-0 sweep of defending champion BREN Esports in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Saturday evening.

With the victory, ONIC PH swept its season match-up against the world champions.

Bren Esports’ mage barrage gave them the upper hand early in Game One, but the Thamuz-Eztes frontline of ONIC PH, along with the late-game damage brought by Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales’ Bruno, gave the two-time MPL-Philippines second placer the win.

Dlar went full defense mode on his Thamuz, while Jay “Jay” Torculas’ Estes gave him the added sustain to man the front.

That wall built by the two mentioned above was indestructible in the latter part which gave them the win.

Dlar was named the Smart MVP with eight assists against four deaths in Game One which lasted for 22 minutes and 50 seconds.MPL-PH-Season-7-ONIC-def-BREN-Game-One Dlar not to be denied as ONIC continues mastery over BREN in MPL-PH ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

It was all-out domination for ONIC PH in the second match, with Dlar once again serving as the team’s tank playing Barats.

With Dlar manning the defense, Christian “Iy4knu” Manaog’s Esmeralda spearheaded the offensive strike in ONIC PH’s 17-3 Game Two win.
