Demonkite hopes to be on the same breath as ‘idol’ Wise one day

Without a doubt, rookie jungler Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto has been a revelation for RSG PH in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight.

Entering the season’s fifth week, the former JNA Esports jungler took the league by storm after topping the KDA (7.21) and kills (93) department.

Demonkite edged out some of the league’s best in Blacklist International’s Kiel “OHEB” Soriano and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, Bren Esports’ Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, and ONIC PH’s Kairi “Kairi.” Rayosdelsol in the kills list.

Meanwhile, in the KDA section, the super rookie beat the likes of ONIC PH’s Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales, Blacklist International’s Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and OHEB, and his teammate Arvie “Aqua” Calderon.

Still, despite the enormous strides he made in the past weeks, Demonkite is still hungry for more. With this, he vowed to do everything he can to become the best jungler in the league – just like his idol Wise.

“Proud na proud [ako] sa sarili ko pero siyempre, nag da-doubt pa rin ako kasi ‘di pa rin ako yung the best. Ine-aim ko talaga yung maging the best [sa MPL],” said Demonkite after leading RSG PH to a 2-1 reverse sweep against ECHO.

“Yung idol ko, si Wise. Gusto ko maging best core katulad niya.”

Demonkite proved that he’s the KDA King in the MPL against ECHO, putting up a 9-0-6 line in the Game Two win before ending the match with a 6-1-7 stat line in Game Three both as X.Borg.

Demonkite though admits that he is still making constant adjustments. Moreover, the young gun also knows his limitations — citing his limited pool of heroes.

For the best to come, he vows to just keep on improving until he reaches his peak.

“Sobrang daming changes sa patch ngayon and sobrang hirap mag adjust kasi ang hirap hanapin ng tempo ng laro, kung saan puwedeng maperfect yung mga heroes ganun,” he added.

“Kaya mag expect sila na mas lalo pa naming paparamihin yung hero pool namin lalo na ako.”

RSG PH will go up against Blacklist International tomorrow at 6:00 PM.
