Clint Escamis leaves UE

University of the East lost one of its building blocks on Tuesday.

Clint Escamis has bid the Red Warriors farewell, leaving the school after just one season.

Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.

After a stellar run with Malayan, the 5-foot-11 guard committed to UE, which was then under the late Bong Tan.

However, his Red Warriors debut was delayed due to multiple injuries and the ongoing pandemic.UAAP-84-Mens-Basketball-AdU-vs-UE-Clint-Escamis-scaled Clint Escamis leaves UE Basketball News UAAP UE - philippine sports news

In his sole year with UE, Escamis averaged 7.64 points, 5.93 rebounds, 4.57 assists, and 2.14 steals per contest.

“No regrets,” said Escamis during his last game as a Red Warrior.

“Kahit talo kami, marami akong na-gain na learnings and experiences within this transfer.”

According to Tiebreaker Times’ sources, Escamis is pondering on either returning back home to Mapua or going to another UAAP school.
