Cignal signs American Tai Bierria as import

American reinforcement Tai Bierria will be Cignal’s guest player for the upcoming 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, the team announced on Friday.

The 6-foot-1 outside spiker is a product of Memphis University and New Mexico University, playing in the NCAA from 2016 to 2020.

Bierria then started her professional career by playing for Pölkky Kuusamo in Finland before transferring to Clamart Volley-Ball in France.

The 25-year-old Bierria joins the 1-2 punch of Ces Molina and Rachel Daquis in the wings as they try to surpass Cignal’s back-to-back bronze finishes in the Open and Invitational Conferences.

The import-laden tournament is set to raise its curtains on October 8, Saturday.
