Janine Marciano stretchered out after apparent knee injury

Right as their season was about to end, the Cignal HD Spikers absorbed one last disheartening blow after open spiker Janine Marciano had to be carried out of the FilOil Flying V Centre during their game against the Cocolife Asset Managers.

With the score knotted at 20-all in the third set, the open spiker suffered what appeared to be a right knee injury after landing awkwardly on a spike attempt. The open spiker was immediately rushed to the nearest medical facility, as Cignal were eliminated in the 2017 Chooks-to-Go PSL Grand Prix quarterfinals by Cocolife.

The HD Spikers are already without stalwarts Jovelyn Gonzaga and Rachel Daquis.
