Cienne Cruz, Djanel Cheng, Jonah Sabete come back home to Petro Gazz

It did not take long for Petro Gazz to find the right pieces for the upcoming 2022 Premier Volleyball League season.

The Angels have announced that Cienne Cruz, Jonah Sabete, and Djanel Cheng are coming back home to them.

“Reunited back and ready to work it out for our refueled roster,” read the team’s message.

“Welcome back, Angels! Let’s do this!”

Coming off a spectacular 2019 campaign, Cienne, 27, did not join Petro Gazz for the 2020 PVL Open Conference as she and twin sister Camille had to serve a residency in the US to get their green card.

Cienne was the 2018 PVL Open Conference Best Libero.

Both Sabete and Cheng, on the other hand, are Petro Gazz originals.

During the off-season last year, Sabete signed with Sta. Lucia to join Cheng, who had been with the Lady Realtors since the latter part of 2019.

Sta. Lucia disbanded its team late last year.

The trio will fill the shoes left by Kath Arado, Ivy Perez, and Ces Molina.
